Nirvana is run by one person. This describes what is actually collected and what is actually done with it, not what a template says.
What is collected
- Your email address, so you can sign in and so I can answer you.
- The three dimensions you choose, and the ratings you record against them.
- Which sessions you completed, and when.
- Questions you send through Ask, and my answers.
- Heart rate variability, read from Apple Health on your device.
Your health data
HRV is read from Apple Health with your explicit permission, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings → Health. Nirvana reads it and never writes to Apple Health.
Health data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used for marketing. Apple's rules forbid it and so do I. It is used for one thing: computing your Nirvana Score against your own earlier baseline.
Who else sees it
Nirvana runs on Supabase, which hosts the database. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details directly — I never see or store a card number. Those are the only third parties, and neither uses your data for their own purposes.
There is no analytics tracking, no advertising SDK, and no third-party session recording in this app.
What you can ask for
A copy of everything held about you, correction of anything wrong, or deletion of all of it. Email cibichess@gmail.com and I will do it within 30 days. Deletion removes your account, your reflections, your messages and your entitlement — it cannot be undone.
If you are in the EU or UK, these are your rights under GDPR. If you are in California, under the CCPA. They are offered to everyone regardless.
How long it is kept
For as long as you have an account, and for one year afterwards unless you ask for deletion sooner.
